Miss Harriett Hope and Master Angelo Florio handed out paper caps as couples danced to sparklers and Home Sweet Home, then all moved to the Merry Aldo for a supper prepared by Miss Isabel Mernaldo. Lee Harris read a telegram from Davis expressing holiday wishes and prosperity for Eureka and all its residents.

Death of Mrs Isadore Sara at Roberts Creek ranch
The Sentinel reports the passing of Mrs Isadore Sara at 2 a m December 26 at their Roberts Creek Eureka County ranch. She suffered eclampsia during pregnancy, had ten convulsions, and died after a surgical termination of pregnancy. She was 3 years, 7 months, 28 days old, born in Aldudes France, and survived by her husband three children, a sister and brother in France, four brothers in Nevada, and two sisters in Cedarville California. Funeral will be held in Sureka next Tuesday forenoon.

Darma Coal Mine Begins Production Near Tonopah
The Darma coal mine at Coaldale near Tonopah starts production with a first shipment of ten tons to Tonopah stockholders. H A Darms of the Darms Coal Mining Company supervised the shipment from an upper mine level as the six-foot vein of clear coal is expected to yield next month after the sinking contract is completed. The Tonopah and Goldfield Railroad will haul the first shipment free of charge, and Darms hopes regular coal trains soon run between Coaldale and Tonopah.
