Golconda Cattle Company Trial Set in Federal Court

The Golconda Cattle Company, led by I N Kent and with Congressman William Kent a large shareholder, faces a federal indictment for fencing about 30000 acres of Government land and using it for cattle ranging. Trial set for Tuesday with Jennery and two civil actions to follow. plea entered not guilty. The Ely Expositor notes 1000 more workers to be hired in Ely next year.
