Billy Barton Finds a Wild Way Home
Billy Barton, son of a prosperous eastern merchant, runs away to New Mexico to cowpoke. After years away he returns on a visit, declines his father’s offer to join the business, and briefly plots a burglary with a jailed acquaintance. The plan collapses when Billy outwits Pete, confesses, and is set up as a rancher to reform, though he remains unsettled about safety.
