The marriage of Miss Fannie B. McCallum to Lawrence Henry George was solemnized at the bride’s parents’ home in Eugene at 11 o’clock this forenoon. The couple will reside in Olympia after a formal luncheon and a large procession of friends bid the bride farewell at the train.
Carson Matthews started filling the low ground around the water tank at the depot with gravel gathered from a pit across the river. The damp gravel was dropped, spread, and banked several feet high around the tank, preparing the ground for a new depot and other improvements in the depot yard.
