Northwestern League to reinstate Aberdeen for Portland club
In San Francisco on January 26 the Pacific Coast directors unanimously voted to reinstate Aberdeen and grant a Portland club a place in the coming season, a move attributed to Aberdeen’s request and not favor to Dugdale or Lucas. Walter McCredie was named a one man committee to back Portland’s NWL club finance, with Dugdale’s authority still decisive. Aberdeen’s C H Rowland hinted there may be more behind the move and questioned if the six team format will return.
