Master Hoyt Parkison threw a surprise Saturday afternoon party for his sister Mildred’s tenth birthday. She received many fine gifts including a large leather doll carriage. Parents Mr and Mrs FEH Parkison hosted with Mrs Jim Anderson and Miss Gertrude Bergquist helping with refreshments and games into the evening.
Last Sunday the Presbyterian Sunday series held Rally Day with fifty one in attendance and an offering of 33.26. Next Sunday’s topic is The Rewards of Religion with The Time is Short as the evening sermon. Christian Endeavor plans a Halloween social at Wernl hall on Friday October 27 with a program and refreshments. admission for adults is 25 cents and for children under twelve 15 cents. All are invited.

He is an experienced irrigation engineer in the federal service and aims to identify weak points and propose needed changes for the present irrigation situation.
C. D. Terwilliger shipped four cars of cattle to Owaha last week. He and his father, B. D. Terwilliger, accompanied the cattle to market.
