Conditions Favor Stockmen Douglas Reports Snow Levels
Medicine Bow national forest supervisor Lyon H. Douglas returns from a five day inspection to Saratoga French Creek Medicine Bow peak and other points. He notes four feet of snow at 9000 feet and six feet at 10000 feet plus little snow in lower lands. He says conditions are ideal for stockmen with winter prazing in valleys and ample mountain snow for water. Stock in valleys are in fine shape and will be ready to move into the forest in spring.
