Mrs Reynolds mother of A L Reynolds travels from Beaver Creek to Bismarck with McGlack en route to Mankato Kansas.

In the Missouri valley wheat improves with seasons ten days earlier than the Red River country. The Missouri valley yields are expected around twenty bushels per acre, while the Red River valley faces heat damage reducing yields to about sixteen and a half bushels. Beaver Creek man brings lumber, tales of Russians building sod houses

Mr. W. E. Clark of Beaver Creek returned from Bismarck with lumber for building purposes. He described Russians southeast of ous county building sod houses with plastered exteriors and sun-dried brick floors, noting thrifty, clean homes made from cow-yard refuse dried for fuel. He also mentions Dahl Bros selling Scotch caps for 75 cents.
