The Emmons County board met in Linton with reports on tax certificates, road work, and public highway petitions. Delegates were chosen for irrigation, justice appointments were made, and resolutions directed tax matters and land transfers amid routine county business.
The Emmons County Board met October 5 1908 at 3 p m in Lawrox North Dakota. They reviewed bids for furnishing 50 tons of lignite coal and approved a bond of 1000 to ensure faithful performance. Minutes from July 6 through September were read and approved.
A chaotic October 6 1903 session involved Baxter Fischer reverines and Frederick as the fallout centered on appraisers and appraisal processes. The board met at 6 o clock with officials Jakobcher and others addressing turbulent proceedings and audit concerns.
Notice is hereby given that Pearl Dobbin has filed notice of intention to make commutation final proof in support of water rights. The land described includes the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter and other quarters in section 25, township 135 north, range 70 west. Witnesses named: James Giene of Livon N. George, May Burtte, and Arthur Gilanata. McGillivray, Register.
