The Minneapolis wet campaign, spanning the Oct 4 report, shows wets leading 35 262 to 27 147 from 170 of 193 precincts, with estimates suggesting a 7 000 to 9 000 margin. Charges of fraud, arrests for corrupt practice, and citywide saloon influence colored the night as voters weighed prohibition in the largest city on the issue.
Attorney Armstrong traveled from Hazelton on business. Braddock sees new firms and houses, with property near the Square sold to Fred Oberg for 13000 dollars.
