Pioneer Mrs. J. A. Stiles dies in Aberdeen
Mrs. J A Stiles of Winona Emmons county dies after a long illness. She was born February 28 1868 in Warnemunde Mecklenberg Schiever in Germany and moved to the United States in 1885 settling at St Ansgar Iowa. She moved to Emmons county in 1902 and lived in Winona since. Funeral held at the Methodist church in Linton with Father Ambrose of Standing Rock performing rites. Her son Benjamin Carls and wife delayed by a railroad wreck. services attended by family and friends.
