The Linton Post office lists this notice for a Memorial Day basket social at the courthouse hall on May 30. Ladies are asked to bring lunch baskets for two. all are invited to attend.
Under section 751 of the Revised Codes a teachers institute will be held in the school house at Linton North Dakota beginning 9am Monday June 12 and ending Friday evening June 16 1906 Prof Berg of Larimore will be conductor assisted by Miss Sara L Roberts of Valley City All teachers or those seeking to teach in the county are urged to attend Linton ND May 19 1905 Charles Coventry County Superintendent
Long obsolete state code imposes duties on county superintendents to notify teachers of institute times and places ten days prior, require attendance with school closure and four days of participation, and allows revocation or withholding of certificates for nonattendance or inefficiency, with carve-out for city teachers under special law.

Also a four mile west of Braddock Braddock area registered shorthorn bull for 75. Taken up cows on claim, light colored movley and drys age four or five years, owner to be called. Dale North Dakota.
A Bakker posts an estray notice from one mile north of Hull dated about April 30 describing a gray three year old mare of 1200 pounds and a one day old colt. Reward offered for information leading to recovery.
