The Fifteenth North Dakota Legislative Assembly closes after a rowdy final night with songs and mischief. League leaders push a broad reform agenda while critics claim little was accomplished, leaving questions over constitutional changes and future elections.

Local Linton residents fire off a letter denouncing Senator Gronna for opposing a president backed measure to authorize arming merchant ships and using U S forces to defend rights. The plan stalled in the Senate by Gronna LaFollette and ten others with near session end. A separate note expresses confidence in Senator McCumber for backing the president. A long list of signatories from Lincoln Winchester Williamsport and McCulley districts appear alongside attendance certificates for nine months.
The Educational News Bulletin from North Dakota's Department of Public Instruction is discussed for county and city superintendents, principals, and teachers. It highlights exchange of statewide education news, upcoming eighth grade finals, rural school laws, and a planned tour by State Superintendent Macdonald and Attorney General Langer to discuss enforcement of compulsory education and seven month terms.

H A Armstrong and L C Malchart auto toured to Palm Beach and Miami.
Mrs O Corner visited the third and fourth grade room Tuesday. Ella Weber came Monday. The weather allows recess again. Stewart Coventry returned Monday after a week’s absence. Nine fifth graders have not been tardy or absent in five months: Briddell Chesrown Coventry Kyes Ramey Ramey Schwei tzer Schaffer Schaffer. Visitors from Napoleon Kintyre Steele and other towns noted. Martha Weber returned Saturday from Bismarck. Helen Jacobson came home Saturday from a Bismarck hospital walking with crutches. Mr and Mrs A C Stank and Marjorie visited Mrs Stank’s parents in Hazelton Monday as train service limited access to see Mrs Rush.
The fifth grade changed seats Monday and now has two divisions. Laura Marschall left school for Strasburg Citizen in the Toile of the jattend German school law. Edwin Wittmayer returned to Joy Water school. Reva James is absent sick. Phyllis Coventry went to Bismarck for dental work. Ada Scott remains absent due to eye issues.

After election talk that the prohibition law would laxly enforced, county activity increased with a dry year start. At Strasburg Matt Keller posted bond on a bind pigging charge and authorities plan to indict more violators to prove they mean business.
