Burleigh Kidder county debt adjustment bill passes
The North Dakota Senate advanced Senate Bill 37 to adjust the indebtedness between Burleigh and Kidder counties dating from a territory split years ago. Senator LaMoure questioned proper representation of Kidder county, and Senator Little described the bill as a general mechanism for settling accounts between the counties. A roll call issue arose with Senator McDonald absent, but the measure passed after a point of order.
