Uneven practical mines operate at Dick Mine Burr Oak District

A new force of uneven practical mines works at the Dick Mine in Burr Oak District with more workers to be added as needed. The Edick Coal is favored locally for its quality versus outside mines. Sleeping and eating accommodations are provided at the site, with a boarding option for visitors who bring no food through Frank Sweetman’s boarding-house for horses and riders.
