County Superintendent urges all schools to make every pupil a Junior Red Cross member before next Monday December 28. North Dakota Urges Redemption of War Savings Stamps

North Dakota residents are urged to redeem pledges and buy War Savings stamps totaling 3 660 000 before January 1 to meet the state quota. November sales were 668 205, about half October. Snow arrives for light sledding, light winds, and a mild winter pattern with cloudy days.

High School Entertainment Tickets Sell Fast for Show

The school plans a January 3 program with acts from high and junior classes and a social dance after. Admission costs 50 cents for adults and 25 cents for children to support Linton schools. A second show will be offered Friday January 10 if many tickets remain unavailable.
