Ice for Summer on the Farm

Army to Hire 20,000 Graduate Nurses for Hospitals At Home and Abroad
With continuing war, the next year will require at least 20,000 nurses in Army hospitals both in the United States and overseas. Of 80,000 graduate nurses in the country only 3,500 have been assigned to Army service, including 1,500 in France. Army nurses must graduate from a training school and have two years hospital service. Assignments prefer domestic or abroad based on conditions, with abroad optional.
