Wahpeton Globe Critics Streeter Libel Debate

The Wahpeton Globe argues editors who backed the Streeter libel bill have spent time in jail and should support a Democratic plank condemning the law. It says malicious libel is worse than larceny and should be a felony, not a mere misdemeanor, and questions jury willingness to convict editors printing truthful or critical remarks.
