Reports detail several fatal incidents: O K Abbey a farmer near Irving and S S Purvey a South Dakota youth died when a southbound passenger train hit their buggy near Buchanan station. Ole Aslesen sixty was killed instantly at Grand Forks on Kittson avenue when a switch engine struck him. State tennis tourney draws large crowd at Grand Forks
T N Jayne of Minneapolis won the Red River championship and the $500 cup at the state tennis tournament in Grand Forks. The Stevenson sisters of Ardock captured the North Dakota doubles title and cup. Carl Ettiman, fourteen, son of farmer John Ettiman, fell into a wheat bin at Mapleton and smothered to death after climbing an elevator top and losing balance.
