Vic & Long fitted a room for a cream station. Miss Esther Junge returned from Bismarck with Miss Evelyn Danford. Doerschlag anniversary party honored with cards and luncheon. Harry Hubbard got a silver baritone. Pettis a bass drum. Andrus commissioned postmaster at Hazelton. Jenner of Klabunae will manage farm duties near Winona for a month. Miss Hazel Roop Asa Dawson and another motor party from Bismarck visited. Hon Wesley Baker shopped here. recently returned from Florida. Zirbes hall dance and basket social benefited Hazelton baseball club. proceeds and remaining funds. Nick Graham and daughter Mary head to Missoula for health recovery. John Graham accompanies them. Hazelton friends gathered at the depot to bid farewell to the elder Graham.

Fort Yates and Farm school teams split a Sunday game with Farm 17 to 12 in favor of Fort Yates. J A Stiles and others attend Sioux Lumber Company stockholders meeting in McLaughlin. Ice on the Missouri River broke up April 6th and water is lower than in memory. Frank Fiske will join Benton Packet Company as assistant pilot near Bismarck. W H Hinton considers opening a barber shop. Raymond Hinton joins Pioneer staff. Jerry Dyer of Winona visits. Major Covey and others. A tennis court added south of H J Benuke house. J Carignan and A A Ostrum plan farming moves in Emmons county.

Kenneth Green has left school for Wisconsin for the remainder of the year. The fourth and fifth grades enjoyed a stroll over the hills picking paggue flowers Friday after school. Fourth grade pupils with perfect spelling last week include Alvin Atha Nyla Atha Zona Smith. Friday afternoon fourth grade will present a program of songs and recitations on Spring.
