District Court to Open in Williamsport May 18 1895

A term of District Court will begin at Williamsport on Monday May 18 1895. Those wishing to take out final naturalization papers may do so at that time. telegram reports Queen Victoria dead in Bismarck last night. A new fish law is debated especially its ban on netting or spearing fish in the Missouri river. The Big Muddy yields abundant catch by various methods.

Dickson Case Deferred Again Amid Illness Claims

The Jewell Nursery promotes Minnesota stock and the North Star red currant. Popular Edition of Laws of 1895 announced for North Dakota, with major code changes and new revenue laws. Teachers’ examination dates set for Emmons county on March 29 to April 4.

Ferry Proposal Offered by Emmons County Board

Emmons County North Dakota invites bids for a three year ferry privilege between Winona and Fort Yatex from May 1. Bids due April 2, 1965 at the County Auditor’s office. Payments in two installments annually with a $1000 bond to secure future payments. The board may reject any or all bids.
