ECC Drake Summer School Schedule Set for June Start
Emmetsburg Community College and Drake University offer summer courses starting Monday June 5. Dean Ed Holst notes the program includes Education of the Mentally Retarded and Test and Physical Education, with courses in elementary school activities and physical activities for children.

Three semester hours education class to start Monday in the junior college building at South and Call Streets. Health and Physical Education class meets at the high school site Palmer. A government course, American Government 12, for three semester hours, begins June 5 at 7 pm in the junior college building with Claude Meredith on the faculty. Tuition is 10.50 per semester hour. hours may transfer to four year colleges. For info call the Dean at 852 4464. Ambulance orderlies required, 21+, HS diploma, driver license. Red Cross First Aid certification. Bids for new and used ambulances to be presented June 1, 1967. Swimming program registration for Emmetsburg and Palo Alto County. sessions run June 26 to July 8, and July 10 to 21. Classes for various skill levels, including adults if enough sign up. Junior high students and older needed to teach and supervise.
