Western Union Operators Walk Out in Minneapolis

About sixty Western Union telegraph operators in Minneapolis quit their posts at 8 30 a m after the discharge of N M Hansen an operator at the Minneapolis office of Western Union. Operatives at other offices and at the Chamber of Commerce followed. Private lines remained open but avoided contraband business.
