An elderly Elyria resident, Mrs. Martha Fauver, about 64, was hit by Troxel’s car at East avenue and Gracecourt Tuesday around five. She was dragged briefly, then taken home in weakened condition. doctors fear for her life as events unfold.

Suit over alleged land sale in Sheffield township

Common Pleas Court hear JO Kortz claim against D D Lewis for an agreed sale of land in Sheffield township for 318000 with a warranty deed to be delivered within ten days after contract. LaGrange Farmer Hurt as Hay Wagon Struck Near Cleveland

James Wheeler a 33 year old La Grange Ohio farmer was injured when his hay wagon was struck by a motor car at Rhodes Avenue and Bridge Street in Cleveland. Wheeler lies in Lutheran Hospital with a dislocated hip. One horse was killed and another seriously injured. Hay scattered over the road.

Death of Walter Gaston at 17 months in Lodi Street

Walter Gaston, youngest son of Mr and Mrs E R Gaston of Lodi Street, died on the afternoon of September 5 from brain fever at 17 months and 11 days. Burial was set for Monday at South Amherst. Julius Everhart of Penfield was declared epileptic on Tuesday and ordered sent to the Ohio Hospital for Epileptics.

Gun Club Shoots At Grounds On Labor Day

A large crowd witnessed the Gun Club shoot on Labor Day with scores out of 25 led by W H Kahni7 and C E Blanchard at 17. W J Hillier and Paul Morgan tied at 16. Doubles saw Kuhn 8 Morgan 7 Blanchard 7 Hillier 6 Hultz 4 Hancock 3. Hillier then posted a 19 of 20 best score of the day.

L S M S Railway Plans Large Equipment Purchase

The L S M S railway will spend about 1.6 million dollars on rolling stock this fall. Forty Brooks locomotives at roughly 18 thousand each, 600 box cars at 800 each, and 15 passenger coaches at 12 thousand each will be delivered during the month.
