Shortage of Ohio rural teachers amid low pay eyed

State School Commissioner Bone estimates 5 to 10 fewer teachers per county than positions, totaling a shortfall of 600 to 1000 statewide. Foreigners Battle On Lorain Street

Two men lie in critical condition after a stabbing affray on Lorain Street. Krink Verguon, engineer, and Ferguson, a sailor, were attacked by a group of foreigners. Blydenburg Indicted in Wife Poisoning Case

Ebenezer Blydenburg, accused of poisoning his wife to gain her fortune, was indicted by a grand jury. The couple married in Wauseon and moved to Iowa where she died. poison was found in her stomach at Ann Arbor. Relatives in Ohio initiated the investigation. He was held without bond on $10,000 bail.
