A damaged OCR marriage notice lists multiple names with ages and occupations in a garbled form. Readable items include several individuals from Oberlin and Lorain areas, ages mostly in the 18 to 30 range, with occupations like machinist and merchant, but many fragments remain unclear.
Elyria lodge of Elks held a regular meeting with initiation a smoker and an oyster luncheon. City officials including Perry Williams F M Stevens R B Lersch A C Wilcox and Clayton Chapman spoke, lauding Elkdom while the evening featured florid speeches and social activity. In a separate matter Anna Bolden Oberlin seeks divorce alleging adulterous ties and property denial with shared residence and restraining orders sought along with restoration of her maiden name.
A major bowling tour in the city opened at Power Broth alleys on Tuesday. Ten teams of two men each compete twice weekly through February with prizes totaling forty dollars across five awards. Early results show Welty and Tile top scores, while Allyn and Tunnington, Shallon and Hason, and others posted totals.
