Miss E Sayers and Miss Austin of Oberlin college spent Sunday with Miss Sayers’ parents.
Our Sunday school grows in numbers and interest led by Supt Hebener. Visitors Misses Smith and Dawhorst from Chestport Grove attended while Supt was away at a delegation in La Porte. Harry Eason visited his cousin W Grills. Mrs Ben Boise of Lorain was granted a divorce by mutual agreement.
Bishop Horstman issued an official letter admonishing priests in his diocese to refrain from public talk about political questions or secular affairs inside or outside the church. The move comes after a Cleveland priest’s remarks on a recent campaign.

Hycke and Louis Cook with Mrs Hycke spent Sunday with Mrs Thomas Wabb at Lake Breeze. Mrs Negus died Saturday at 8 pm after a long illness. Mrs Henry Standen visited her parents Friday. Mrs Lichenberger of South Lorain visited Mrs Standen Sunday. Mr Rounds fell from a load of fodder Monday injuring his wrist.
