A Lake Shore Flyer locomotive collision fatally injured a foreman aged about 40. The man died after being struck while crossing the track at Clyde and the body was found near the trash in the vicinity. A note left at the scene identified the deceased and the investigation continues at Ensign and Wilkin's."

The oath of his new office as judge of common pleas court was administered to Attorney G. Washburn Saturday morning by County Clerk Wilcox. Washburn tendered his resignation to the board of elections and, though election returns are not complete, signed the certificates and was released.
