Two Years For Kennedy In Bellevue Burglary Case

Frank Kennedy, arrested for a Bellevue burglary and suspected in the Agatha Reichlin murder at Lorain, was sentenced to two years in Fremont peniten tiary after pleading guilty to grand larceny. He denied Reichlin involvement, displaying calmness during sentencing. Corporal M J Donahue of Cleveland sought recruits in Elyria for all military branches, planning returns next week. he has served eleven years.

Nellie Dowd’s suit against C E and W was settled at the defendants’ costs following a collision at Ridgeville last year.

Married couple united at Lorain in Elyria ceremony

Lottie Tyler of Elyria and Lewis Amsden were married Wednesday evening at 1680 Livingston avenue Lorain. Rev O W Recardt of Ashland officiated at 9 o'clock. Friends from Elyria Cleversal Bellevue Toledo and West Clarksfield attended. Ceremony featured bells of ferns and an elaborate supper.

Pr W E Hart was called to Oberlin Thursday to consult on a local patient thought to have smallpox. The doctor confirms it is a very mild case. The patient is a young woman whose home is in Tudiana.

Lorain County WCTU Convention Opens at Wellington

The Lorain County Women's Christian Temperance Union opened its semi annual convention in Wellington with delegates from Lorain Elyria Oberlin North Amherst and Wellington. Died at Pittsfield Richard Gibbins Dies at Age Eight

Richard Gibbins aged eight died May 11 at the home of Lyman Foster in Penfield after sustaining injuries from a broken lip suffered in Oberlin on the previous Saturday. He was buried May 20 in Pittsfield cemetery after services at the ME church. If he had lived to August 13 he would have been 96.

Grady Councilman Grady Severely Injured After Banana Peel Fall

Grundy councilman Grandy sustained severe injuries during a Wednesday 8 foot race with grocer A J Burrel. He slipped on a banana peel, wrenching tendons from the bone in his upper left leg and spraining the right leg, leaving him bedbound.

Three Alleged Robbery Attempts Reported in South Lorain

Police reported three attempted robberies in South Lorain on Wednesday night. The first attack occurred at ME Ewald's Pearl Street residence, where the intruders were driven off. Shortly after, armed citizens formed vigilantes and encountered the robbers. one sentinel halted Dr. Cos at gunpoint, who explained his presence in the area.
