A Winchester Indiana man writes that his wife suffered illness beyond doctors but was cured by Doctor King's New Life Pills. The ad claims relief for stomach and liver troubles, constipation and headache and lists A J Brady's drugstore as a seller at 25 cents.
Frank Kennedy, arrested for a Bellevue burglary and suspected in the Agatha Reichlin murder at Lorain, was sentenced to two years in Fremont peniten tiary after pleading guilty to grand larceny. He denied Reichlin involvement, displaying calmness during sentencing. Corporal M J Donahue of Cleveland sought recruits in Elyria for all military branches, planning returns next week. he has served eleven years.
An athletic exhibition is set for this evening at the First Congregational church. The Lorain club members will be transported by a chartered car to ensure an improved program. The event mirrors the Lorain show from a few weeks earlier and aims for greater success.

Lottie Tyler of Elyria and Lewis Amsden were married Wednesday evening at 1680 Livingston avenue Lorain. Rev O W Recardt of Ashland officiated at 9 o'clock. Friends from Elyria Cleversal Bellevue Toledo and West Clarksfield attended. Ceremony featured bells of ferns and an elaborate supper.
Pr W E Hart was called to Oberlin Thursday to consult on a local patient thought to have smallpox. The doctor confirms it is a very mild case. The patient is a young woman whose home is in Tudiana.
The Lorain County Women's Christian Temperance Union opened its semi annual convention in Wellington with delegates from Lorain Elyria Oberlin North Amherst and Wellington. An afternoon session featured devotions and welcome remarks, followed by papers on temperance progress and scientific instruction. The silver medal contest in the evening honored Mrs Haines. Richard Gibbins aged eight died May 11 at the home of Lyman Foster in Penfield after sustaining injuries from a broken lip suffered in Oberlin on the previous Saturday. He was buried May 20 in Pittsfield cemetery after services at the ME church. If he had lived to August 13 he would have been 96.
Grundy councilman Grandy sustained severe injuries during a Wednesday 8 foot race with grocer A J Burrel. He slipped on a banana peel, wrenching tendons from the bone in his upper left leg and spraining the right leg, leaving him bedbound.
Police reported three attempted robberies in South Lorain on Wednesday night. The first attack occurred at ME Ewald's Pearl Street residence, where the intruders were driven off. Shortly after, armed citizens formed vigilantes and encountered the robbers. one sentinel halted Dr. Cos at gunpoint, who explained his presence in the area.
Ascension Day was observed with special services in Catholic churches. Over the next Sundays through July 1, W. Martin will lecture on spiritualism with Bible quotes, stating there is no war with churches and that spiritualism demonstrates immortality through phenomena such as slate writing and spirit photography.
The jury failed to reach an agreement after a day of deliberation in the county court. Plaintiff Jacob Schneider alleges injuries from a vehicle incident involving the Cleveland City Electric Co. on Franklin Street. the case was moved on a change of venue.
