On Lod street bridge a man named Kreegor, said to have been drinking, fell asleep on a rock as water rushed beneath. Police Chief Smith rescued him from the bank after he woke, then the crowd learned he had slipped from fatigue rather than danger.
Raphael Annatto a 25 year old Italian immigrant who can speak few English words married Tuesday to Mrs. Lillian Grant 29 of Lorain. The ceremony was conducted by Justice Lord.
Dr. George Riscok treated the two year old daughter of Mrs. Mary Henke of Haron Street. The child was burned Thursday and on Friday showed slight improvement with good chances for recovery.
Ten young men indicted for playing base ball on Sunday at Avon were arraigned before Judge Washburn and pleaded not guilty. Among eleven indictments Charles Chambers skipped to Pittsburg. others named include Nick Mod Ted Smith Frank Cavanaugh Isaac Gore Charles Wright Charles Cristner James McDermott John Huehanan Charles Kidd and K O Hara. Bond set at $1 for each defendant. The criminal cases will be assigned Monday afternoon and the circuit court reports Monday morning. A motion for a change of venue in W Worth's case will be filed Monday.
