The Elyria Hospital Auxiliary association has completed its organization with about 80 members. The object is to maintain a hospital in Elyria, with a monthly membership fee of 10 cents. A fund for a hospital building has been started. Officers elected include Hon. Ex Mayor Husted Dead in Cleveland at 66
Former Wellington resident and Civil War veteran Ex Mayor Husted died at his Cleveland home last Tuesday morning at age 66. He was buried in Norwalk Thursday. He had many local friends and a distinguished public service record. George Chapman plans a new Third street house with Pfundt and Sehaltz handling brick and stone work. Lorain County Humane Society adjourned Wednesday night to act on three reported cases.

Four Damages Settled in Common Pleas Court
On Wednesday four personal damages suits were settled. Etta Hoag won $10 from the Big Four after a fall from a train at Greenwich Ohio on September 28, 1902. Walter Crandall received $800 for a fire-caused loss linked to sparks from a Big Four train. Sheldon Streator’s administrator Minnie Cook was awarded $600 after being struck by a Big Four train at North Eaton, Ohio on September 11, 1902. May Myers, injured in a Big Four wreck at Flint, Ohio, was awarded $3,500 from a claimed $25,000.
