Mr. Farnam a former county resident traveled from Denver to Monese Indiana then reached Cleveland on March 16 1908 on foot seeking health. He weighed under 96 pounds at departure in June 1901 and 148 pounds upon arrival in Monese showing a remarkable restoration through walking despite limited means. He refused transport offers and stayed faithful to the road. He still has many friends near Rafton who will read of his journey with interest.
