14th District Republican Convention Held in Ohio
The Lorain County Republican bodies plan a joint convention in Wellington on April 10 1900 to nominate a candidate for Congress and elect a Presidential Elector and delegates. Representation is based on polling results from the 1898 governor race with specific delegate counts by township and precincts. The process allows county conventions or caucuses to choose delegates, with final arrangements set by county chairmen.
