Mrs. Bertina Sweet Secures Divorce Degree

Mrs Bertina Sweet, formerly Mrs D L Hertiin Sayeot, obtained a divorce and alimony arrangement after a long separation. She taught at the LaGrange public schools and was noted as a skilled musician. The couple married in Windsor Canada on July 24 and have a son Byron Morgan. custody was awarded to his mother, with no abandonment of alimony.

Injunction Dissolved in Lorain School Board Case

Judge Kohler dissolved the temporary injunction restraining five contractors from continuing work on a board contract. Conntreter Kratt, Lorain, sued Elgin school board Pred Wolfeot OC. C. Weaver in the case. The plan required a $400 bond for appeal to the circuit court and five days to appeal.

State Board Requests Information on City Plans

The State Board of Health sent a letter to the city clerk regarding the proposed plans from Riggs & Sherman. The board favors the council changes and would approve their plans except for the sewer outlet into the river. Rice & Williams plans likely will be approved with the same exception. The disposal plant project and extended construction deadline will be reviewed by the board.
