Promoter Knox Eyes Oak Point Land Actions Reported
Promoter Knox, long securing land options in Lorain County, is linked to a Standard Oil refinery plan at Oak Point. Reports say Knox works for a major oil company, with Oak Point proximity to Elyria’s water supply raising concerns. Land options total about 180000 in past and upcoming expenditures, with Holdstein and several other farms already under option and more to be concluded by July. Farmers are receiving about 20 per acre.
