Races Highlight July Fair as FAGT Machines Shine
At Elyria fair July celebration crowds cheered two auto races. Derango of Cleveland won a ten mile open race aboard a Peerless, with Parach of Elyria second. Cleveland drivers Milano Lomey and Leo Milenski placed third and fourth on Winton cars in the second event.

Lorain Woman Committed to State Hospital After Suicide Attempt Mania
Barbara Ulakovich, a Lorain resident, was sent to Toledo this morning by Judge Hinman and will be confined at the state hospital for the insane. The death by her own action mania has required her relatives to closely guard her to keep her from leaping from windows. Leather From Cow's Hide is said to yield three pounds of leather, while a horse hide yields about eighteen pounds.

Woman Tries Suicide Then Rescued After Fall Beneath Bridge
