Resignation of City Health Officer Takes Effect April First
Dr W E Hart tendered his resignation as health officer at a Health Board meeting Friday night. The board accepted the resignation and appointed County Coroner Dr GE French as city health officer. Dr Hart has served for years and was named an inefficient official. Dr French, a man of much experiment, will take over the duties ably. The Ind Congregational church youth group met Friday night and elected officers: LT Manning president, Nathan J Bunnel vice president, Howard Foley secretary and treasurer. A five member committee including officers, Mr Shearer, and S Hind will plan for the year.
