Belt Line Franchise Delayed by West Bridge Street Remonstrances

Residents of West Bridge Street persuaded the city council to pause action on a belt line street railroad franchise. F. M. National Bank Annual Meeting Report Shows Growth

The National Bank held its annual meeting in the directors room with large attendance. Officers’ report indicated healthy business growth in the past six months and new savings accounts. City Lighting Committee Seeks 250 Lamps

The council committee in charge of street lights reported it has located 225 lamps and expects about 250 lamps needed for proper service. It will survey ground placements to ensure lamps are positioned correctly relative to trees.
