The New Year’s reception hosted by the Y.M.L.C.A. in Lorain drew a large crowd with an open house at the Broadway building from 2:80 to 7:80 and an evening program at the South Lorain building. The afternoon featured a rich musical program including piano and violin solos, vocal numbers, and readings, along with a Calendar of Farms display by local church societies. The event moved to Tenth Avenue for the evening, with a Dolin orchestra and a charity luncheon served by baskets, as attendees sat on the floor or at improvised tables.
