Attorney J A Webster filed suit Monday against administrator C A Matcalf of the estate of the late E O Manter. Webster seeks the balance of a note for 192 dating January 14 1904 payable within a year. He says he received 63 50 and asks for judgment for the remaining amount as the administrator rejects his claim.
Greg Beckman sues Ohio Quarrying Co through Youngstown attorneys seeking 10 000 for personal injuries from a allegedly negligent operator at a shingling machine. He claims a left foot injury and cites Judge Washburn presiding in Akron court. Also ad: children’s tennis flannel skirts 8 10 12 years and Walk-Over shoes at 276 Broad Street.
The remains of John Tompkins 1ste of Eaton were laid to rest last Monday morning with a large attendance at the Eaton residence. Tompkins died late at night after a long life in the area. He leaves a wife and a daughter.
