Norwalk Ohio February 16 officials of the Lake Shore Electric Railway Co say they have conducted over 100 tests similar to those at Conneaut where engineers ignored danger signals. General Manager F J Stout notes most tests occurred at Elyria waterworks crossing west of Lorain where a Nickel Plate switch crosses the main line. He says crews regularly stop and have the conductor verify track clearance and asserts no violations of crossing rules have been found.
