First White Child Born in Elyria Township Dies in Lakewood
Henry Beach longtime Elyria Township native and first white child born in the area died at his Lakewood home 2154 Detroit avenue at 10 o clock Tuesday night. He would have turned 90 if he lived until September and was a charter member of the Old Kettler's association. Funeral services set for 2 pm at his late home with interment at Riverside cemetery Cleveland.

Water service damages charged to street railway firms
Wednesday evening the public service board voted to charge the C. & W. and other street railways for water services destroyed by electrolysis from current on tracks. Large pipe holes formed, a Broad street service was ruined and replaced, cost $25.87 was billed to the C. & W.
