Parks Foster Dead in Chattanooga Tennessee

Parks Foster, 72, Lorain County’s leading man and former Avon resident, died in Chattanooga from a sudden illness. A banker, stone dealer, and early railroad figure, he built fortunes in Lorain and Tennessee. Survived by wife Mary L Roberts and four children, funeral plans pending in Lorain.

An elderly immigrant Taenb Sith alias Pomborz Geret died in Washington township leaving an estate valued around 15 000 to 16 000 dollars. Coroner French will render a verdict in the case of Wor Elger the aged man killed weeks ago near Bringe Street crossing of the Lake Shore. Testimony from EVA witnesses varied with some saying gates were down others up. Witnesses agreed gates were not lowered quickly enough for the man to heed them.
