Lake Shore Policeman Hopfinger Appointed for Three Years
Michael Hopfinger of Lake Shore is named a policeman for the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern railway for a three year term starting January 35th. Governor Nash issued the commission, signed by H. M. Shaul and State officials, stamping the document in Ohio. A Lorain theft report follows: Henry Koble's horse and buggy, left hitched on a Lorain street, vanished last Saturday night. A strange rig was found on Cheapside, taken to Biving livery stable, and later identified as the stolen property. Officer Whitney recovered the property before thieves were known. The Lorain County Medical Society will meet Tuesday February Mt at 2 p.m. at Hotel Franklin parlors. Dr. R. E Skeol will speak on obstetrics. All physicians in the county urged to attend.

New Rural Delivery Route west from Lorain planned
The post office will establish a free rural delivery route west from Lorain extending to Oak Point and the ridge. The 26 mile route serves about 250 families.
