New Methodist Church Dedicated in North Amherst
The North Amherst Methodist church was dedicated with Rev. WC Dawson of Lorain presiding elder Reeder administering the sacrament. A strong musical program accompanied the dedicatory sermon and service. Also noted is the obituary of John Warren born July 4 1831 in Hannibal Oswego County who died January 19 1903 aged 72 years 6 months 6 days. He married Elizabeth Farmer in 1852 and left eight sons and two daughters with his widow. Funeral services were held at the home of C Arnold with R M Warren and Mrs S C Arnold offering thanks for support.
