Knights of Pythiaa Pedro Party Ends Five Night Run

The Knights of Pythiaa held a five night progressive pedro at VPythians with lodge meetings. First prize went to Elmer Tuoor for a large quartered oak rooker and second prize to Fred Windt for a quartered oak jardiner etand. The booby prize question is open and can be asked of Otto Martin.

Mrs Amelia O Faragher owner of Century Park sues manager Wal Hoschatein for 400 dollars unpaid rent. She alleges the lease required 100 in 1901 500 in 1903 and 600 in 1903 with the balance to be used as a loan on the dancing pavilion the defendant built.

Missing Lorain Boys Stir City Search

Two sons of James Oldham named George and James, aged nine and twelve, vanished from their Lorain home on Wednesday morning while presumably en route to school. Police and residents conducted a citywide hunt with no sign found. Cleveland police reported no location. The boys are noted as well behaved and never missing before.

Footprints May Point to Oberlin Firebug Capture

Snow prints lead from the North Main Street residence of P W Wilson to the rear of the house after a small Friday night blaze. Fire officials believe waste soaked in a flammable liquid started the fire and the measurements were turned over to police. The suspected arsonist is linked to at least twenty fires in Oberlin over the past year.

Ironworker Charles Ferguson Falls Forty Feet to Death

Charles Ferguson of Cleveland fell from a beam forty feet while working on the United States Steel Corp project at South Lorain. He died within minutes. his body was sent to Wickens and Ransom's morgue. Ferguson, about twenty years old, was single and a member of the ironworkers union. Relatives in Cleveland will decide on arrangements after word arrives.
