Man Killed by Streetcar Near La Porte
Albert Ives of Columbia was struck and killed by a C. & 5. car while sleeping on the tracks near stop 17 in La Porte. The motorman did not see him until the car was almost upon him. Ives was dragged about forty feet, dies from severe injuries. Funeral set for Thursday at 11 o clock. Ives, 38, unmarried, survived by several siblings.
