The Citizens' National Bank of Oberlin opened Friday morning to receive payment on notes and not for paying depositors yet. Examiner Miller has authority over notes and reported some cash intake but would not disclose amounts. Washington officials received the examiner's report, and officials denied any intention of criminal action despite depositor rumors. President Beckwith remains reportedly not subject to prosecution. he would be responsible for returning funds from personal assets.

A final estimate on Barber Raphalt Company's Middle avenue work was presented to the Board of Public Service amid legal disputes over the project. The total improving Middle avenue cost including walks boulevards and water lines is about 59,302.61 with a 122.10 extra bill pending. A bond of 58,000 for ten years is planned to cover the work during ongoing court actions. Elyria Chapter O E S will hold a meeting at Masonic Hall to install new officers with Mrs. Allen H. New GLU Organized By Elyria Benevolent Club

City Extends Plumbing Work To City Departments
The water department will from now on lay all water services from main pipes to the curb by action of the service board. The city will charge 16 for a 3 quarter inch lead service from main to curb. Those wanting pipes from curb to house must hire plumbers and pay in advance. Plumbers will be barred from laying main to curb work. permits will be refused.
