Looted Jewelry Recovered From Lorain Wreck Victims

Bloodstained jewelry and money from twelve men killed in the Nickle Plate wreck at Lorain were catalogued by the coroner. The goods were placed in a safe at BE UL Haegue's drug store, then moved to Lorain for the inquest. Totals exceed $2,000 in value.

Excursion to Northern Michigan Reduced Rate Tickets Offered

On August 15 the Lake Shore By will sell reduced rate tickets to resort points in Northern Michigan in connection with Michigan Central train leaving Toledo at 7 06 p m. One August 17 excursion tickets will also be added to Northern Michigan points via Toledo and the Pere Marquette Ry. Tickets good 12 days. Bank change in Lorain Dollar Savings Company

A majority of Dollar Savings Company stock was taken over and a new board elected. Stock sold at 1.25 amid discussion. Resignations of C Wiegand W C Fisher and William Honecker read. New directors named: O Root L A Fauver and R Thew. Moore resigned, leaving one vacancy. Reorganization expected within days with plan for a commercial bank. Possible continuation as savings institution or formation of a National Bank.
