The Gun Club holds a regular change shoot on Wednesday at 8 o clock with W. H. Kahn and H. B. Martinuare tying at 23 of 25 to be decided by a shoot off. Spectators welcome. Oberlin College plans two student papers next year, a Weekly Review and a new monthly edited by students. Horace Thompson, a waiter at Osborne's, is married and will set up home in Elyria with his wife, a Mrs Green of Cleveland working to keep her maiden name private.
Two passenger cars on the Cleveland and Southwest Arm Electric Railway collided near Brunswick at 6 30 o clock Saturday night. Both tried the same spitch the front ends were damaged but not enough to disable them. No one was injured.
Probate Court reports the will of Mary Gibbs late of Oberlin has been admitted to probate. The filing indicates the estate will be administered under Ohio law with court oversight and readings scheduled as required.
The jury in the LEB and two appropriation cases rode into Stelfield township on Tuesday in a covered wagon to inspect farms where the railroad had not settled land takings with owners. About ten properties remain unsettled and may be resolved before the jury returns. OGhampney delivers ice cream citywide.
Mrs Bert Butler and WU K Simmons were arrested at 430 am Monday at the Tavistock hotel in Cleveland on adultery charges. Butler obtained private proof, and the two were jailed. Butler plans divorce and says he will not condone a second offense.
The county board of elections met at the office of Assistant Secretary Caster Sayler in Lorain and divided several wards into new precincts. The first ward remains intact while the second ward is split into three precincts, and the fourth ward into three wedge shaped districts. The third ward is unchanged due to no precincts exceeding 500 votes. The action follows a law requiring separate precincts on opposite sides of township lines when vote totals exceed 500. Local ads note uniform teas and daily roasted coffee from Baylau Bros.
